Get your ticket to enjoy an authentic jewel of the History of Art with the Mosque of Cordoba. A mix of exquisite styles that will not leave you indifferent. Probably one of the most charming monuments you have ever visited.
Do not miss the best Islamic artistic wonder of the Western world: The Mosque of Cordoba. Declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco, and reconverted and enlarged in a Cathedral, it has not lost its Mudejar essence and its famous Hypostyle Hall or Haram: the hall of columns so characteristic with horseshoe arches so typical of this oriental art.
The wonderful Mosque of Cordoba consists of several areas, which you can visit with your ticket. The main ones are the following: The Visigothic Basilica of San Vicente, the Mosque of Abderramán I, the Royal Chapel, the Mirhab, the Villaviciosa Chapel, the Bell Tower and the Patio de Los Naranjos.
You will find a mixture of Islamic art with elements of omega and Mudejar art, along with Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque elements of the art of Christendom.
There you can also meet great works of art as frescoes. An example of this is the Baptism of Jesus in the Altar of Saint John the Baptist. You cannot miss the Corpus Christi Processional Custody, the San Sebastian sculpture, the Main Altarpiece or the Altarpiece of Our Lady of the Rosary.
